After a series of baking demo roadshows in 2019, PT. Delion joined Interfood Expo, the largest baking exhibition in Indonesia. From November 13th to 16th, we stood out with an aesthetically designed booth of 100 m2. The booth design, which won “Best Stand Award”, represented the modern concept of our company as well as one of our newly launched flavors, lavender. The lavender flavor was developed to be in synergy with bakery and desserts, as showcased by lavender ice cream and lavender ogura cake. Aside from lavender flavor, we also launched watermelon, milk vanilla, and caramel flavors that started to gain popularity in the market, and would be trending the next year.
Beside the eye-catching booth design, we showcased our trending bakery and dessert flavors through everyday baking demonstrations by prominent chefs from different categories. One of them was Chef Yuliana Dias, notable for her endless pudding / jelly creations that resemble art pieces. We also presented Chef Diana Cahya, the expert of charming cakes and desserts. She explained the tips and tricks in making delicious desserts, as well as steps of presenting decorative cakes in a way that is easy to understand and apply. Chef Meida Felici, the expert of batik cake also demonstrated how to craft any batik patterns onto various types of modern and traditional cakes. Last but not least, Chef Beng Budiarso, well-known for his highly detailed and artistic cake decorations.
We provided these showcase of flavor applications in bakery and desserts categories: cakes, brownies, chiffon, ice cream, beverages, pudding & jelly, covering all segments from middle-low to modern-upper level bakery so that our customers can easily understand about our flavors. Through these demonstrations, we also show that our flavors and liquid colorants are capable of fulfilling all the bakery and desserts market needs.
